Let’s be honest – the teenage years are Chaotic… Adolescence is a time of both tremendous growth and tremendous challenges (for both teens and their families) – it’s a time filled with high expectations and uncertainty. As adolescents become more independent, they simultaneously face the pressure to make difficult decisions and often struggle to find their place in the world. These difficulties can cause anxiety, fear, depression, and confusion, and can leave them feeling overwhelmed, angry, and acting-out. They may be struggling with their self-image, comparing themselves to their peers and grappling with figuring out their own identity. Despite the challenges, adolescence is also an incredibly inspiring and exciting time of exploration and discovery.

Therapy can be a source of hope and solace for teens. It can provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore and understand their emotions. Through therapy, teens can learn to identify and express their feelings in healthy ways. They can gain insight into their innermost thoughts and beliefs and gain a better understanding of who they are as an individual. Therapy can also provide a sense of connection and support, helping teens build resilience and confidence in their own strengths and abilities.

With the right therapeutic techniques and support, our teen clients have learned to cope with life's challenges and have gained the skills necessary to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
